Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using the Zapery service (the “Service”) provided by Dataplore (the “Company”), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and its users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • “User” means any person who uses the Service provided by the Company in accordance with these Terms.
  • “Content” means files, text, and other materials that a User uploads or enters in the course of using the Service.

Article 3 (Description of the Service)

The Company provides the following tools, which may be used free of charge without creating an account.

  • Image conversion and editing (format conversion, resizing, compression, cropping, background removal, etc.)
  • PDF conversion and editing (merging, splitting, compression, format conversion, etc.)
  • Calculators (annual salary, bonuses, payroll, weekly holiday allowance, dates, units, etc.)
  • Document and administrative tools (stamp and signature generation, personal information masking, business registration number lookup, etc.)
  • Text, QR, and color tools (QR code generation, table and color conversion, character counting, etc.)

The specific set of tools in the Service may be added to, changed, or discontinued in accordance with the Company’s policies.

Article 4 (Handling of Content)

Some tools process Content solely within the User’s browser and do not transmit it to the Company’s servers. For tools that require server-side processing, transmitted files are not stored on storage devices; they are handled only in memory for as long as processing requires and are discarded immediately upon completion. The Company does not view or retain the contents of a User’s Content. Further details are governed by the Privacy Policy.

Article 5 (User Obligations)

Users shall not engage in any of the following acts.

  • Processing Content that infringes the copyrights or other rights of third parties
  • Processing unlawful or harmful Content that violates laws or public order and morals
  • Causing excessive load on the Service through automated means or otherwise interfering with its normal operation
  • Infringing the Company’s rights by reverse-engineering, copying, or reselling the Service

The User is solely responsible for the lawfulness of, and the rights to, the Content they process.

Article 6 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)

The Company may change or suspend all or part of the Service as required for operational or technical reasons, and given the nature of a free service, this may occur without prior notice.

Article 7 (Limitation of Liability)

  • Except as otherwise specifically provided by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users in connection with the Service provided free of charge.
  • The Company shall not be liable for service interruptions, errors in conversion results, accuracy, or file loss; results provided by calculators and similar tools are for reference only and carry no legal or financial guarantee.
  • Please be sure to back up important files separately before use.

Article 8 (Intellectual Property Rights)

Intellectual property rights in the Service and in the software, designs, trademarks, and other materials included in the Service belong to the Company. The rights to any output a User creates or converts through the Service belong to the User.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, and in the event of a dispute arising in connection with use of the Service, the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act shall have jurisdiction as the court of first instance.

Article 10 (Amendment of the Terms)

The Company may amend these Terms when necessary, within the scope permitted by applicable law, and will announce any amendment on this page together with its effective date.
